Description
The mounting of the tipping controller should ensure stability, easy access and convenient operation. The controller is usually mounted in the cab of the vehicle, in a position that allows ergonomic operation by the operator. Depending on the model, it can be mounted on fixed or adjustable brackets, or have a swivel option for a better fit. It is important that the installation is robust and shock-resistant to guarantee safety and precise operation during tipping operations.
OMFB pneumatic controls are advanced systems for installation in vehicle cabs, enabling precise control of the Power Pickup Attachment (PTO) engagement and the lifting and lowering functions of the tipping body during unloading. With a variety of versions, OMFB controls respond to a wide range of user needs, offering versatility and reliable performance.
Both basic models are available, allowing PTO engagement and disengagement, as well as extended versions equipped with additional tipper operation control functions. For vehicles where PTO control is pre-installed, OMFB systems can be used to manage tipper operation only, without the need to involve PTO functions. An example of the system's flexibility is the possibility of using proportional control, which allows infinite adjustment during tipper operation, as well as a choice of models with locking lever mode positions or automatic return to neutral.
On some versions of the OMFB control, the manufacturer has introduced the additional safety feature of automatically switching off the PTO when the box is lowered. This functionality minimises the risk of operator error, such as driving with the PTO on, which could lead to damage to the power take-off. An important element of the control is also the traffic light display (LED), which clearly informs about the system's operating mode, increasing safety and comfort.
